A pioneering IT business is going for gold in alliance with a global computing giant.
Risc IT Solutions in Llandudno is one of Microsoft’s key UK partners for cloud services, employing 16 people at their innovative Church Walks complex.
Risc is looking to further reinforce their profile by investing in four technical consultants to complete Microsoft’s rigorous Gold standard in Business Productivity, an accreditation that will strengthen their position as a first-class provider of cloud and IT solutions.
Managing Director Jeremy Keane says the standard will build on their current Silver status, and act as a benchmark, giving current and prospective clients further confidence in Risc’s capability and credibility.
Jeremy says they are aiming to be the very best provider of cloud solutions to organisations with 50-500 workers across the UK.
“We have already demonstrated the strength of our technical capability and customer service in achieving silver,” he said.
“To get to that gold standard our technical consultants have to pass a series of exams – which is in progress – that will recognise their high levels of experience and skill.”

Jon Costello, Alan Greenwood, Lewis Williams and Curtis Edwards are the four employees who face the challenge of passing the Microsoft exams, which will support their personal development as well as giving the company added prestige externally.
Business Development Director Mark Lawton says holding Microsoft Competencies and being a member of the Cloud Solution Provider Programme (CSP) since 2014 will give customers reassurance they are working with an organisation that has the expertise and reputation to meet their requirements.
