D|OPS Digital Joins the GitLab Partner Ecosystem as UK plc grasps the benefit DevOps tools and services

D|OPS Digital, a London-based DevOps consulting and technology integrator, has become the latest in a growing number of channel partners for GitLab, the complete DevOps platform delivered as a single application. The growth is further confirmation of the rising demand from UK companies and public organisations for DevSecOps tools that accelerate and improve software development lifecycles and increase organisations’ overall ability to innovate.

“We’re delighted to be joining GitLab DevOps Partner Ecosystem,” said Ben Boswell, CEO of D|OPS Digital. “This integrated DevOps capability, coupled with highly-experienced engineers and engagement approach will enable customers to accelerate their time to market while minimizing their risk and complexity.”

GitLab is a complete CI/CD toolchain in a single application providing a single data store, one user interface and one permission model across the DevSecOps lifecycle.

As a channel partner and expert DevOps consulting firm, D|OPS Digital helps customers realise the maximum business benefit from GitLab in the shortest possible time via rapid assessment, implementation and integration with existing tools and infrastructure. D|OPS Digital also uses its expertise to pre-integrate the platform as part of a wider digital transformation encompassing end-to-end automation and infrastructure in a multicloud environment.

Analyst IDC has calculated that the global market for DevOps tools was worth $8 billion in 2019 and estimated that 77% of companies have started to adopt DevOps in some form. McKinsey research data indicates that companies with strong approaches to software development environments, collaboration, continuous integration and delivery are 65% more innovative than competitors. Silicon Valley venture capitalist Marc Andreesan has stated that “cycle time compression is the key to business success.”

GitLab announced at its Commit Virtual event in August that it has grown its global partner ecosystem by more than 175 partners over the past year. For UK organisations, this worldwide expansion means superior high-value DevOps capabilities through technology integrations with the GitLab product, as well as expert services delivery by regional channel partners to help implement customers’ digital transformation programmes.

“GitLab is excited to build a strategic relationship with D|OPS Digital,” said Michelle Hodges, Vice President of Global Channels at GitLab. “As the adoption of DevOps rises in the UK, their strong customer relationships, expertise and high-value services and capabilities through technology integrations make them a great fit for the GitLab Partner Program. Together, we can help our mutual customers develop software more efficiently and securely, focus on innovation, and realise the maximum business benefits of GitLab.”
