Kevin Keegan to headline leading MSP and IT Channel conference in October

CompTIA, the leading trade association for the global technology industry and workforce, announced today that registration is open for its 2022 EMEA Member and Partner Conference. The conference, which brings together the best and brightest technology professionals for invaluable networking and educational opportunities, will take place at etc.venues near Liverpool Street in central London. The event also will feature keynote remarks from Kevin Keegan, former captain and manager of England’s national football team.

The annual event attracts a diverse audience of executives and industry leaders who are focused on delivering solutions that empower end customer organizations and address the complex workforce challenges of today.

A passionate and renowned communicator, Keegan is one of the most recognisable faces in British football. His playing career included time at Liverpool, Hamburg, Southampton and Newcastle as well as the national side, captaining England for six years until his international retirement after the 1982 World Cup. He was also voted European Footballer of the Year in both 1978 and 1979. As a manager, he held the reins at Newcastle, Fulham, Manchester City and England.

Keegan’s keynote will draw from his experiences on and off the pitch. He will share his perspectives on leadership — everything from motivating a team to inspiring extraordinary endeavours. He also will explain the principles that have helped him become one of football’s all-time greats, the lessons he’s learned throughout his illustrious career, and what makes a great leader.

M.J. Shoer, chief community officer, commented: “Our annual event gives both members and prospective members valuable opportunities to come together, share expertise and insight, and learn about the latest trends and research to help them grow their business and deliver new solutions to their customers. CompTIA is a global organization and the EMEA Member and Partner Conference is one of our signature events, bringing together deep international understandings of industry best practices and trends.”

The conference will feature panels and sessions centered around four key themes: cybersecurity strategies, workforce development, emerging tech innovations, and business-building solutions. As well as representing a focused environment for networking, attendance is a unique opportunity for all organisations that build, sell or influence the adoption of technology to learn how to better collaborate, plan for the future and share best practices to achieve long- term success.

For training and academic partners, the schedule will include a comprehensive update on CompTIA’s market-leading certification program, as well as discussions on how to address the tech workforce challenges that many employers face.

The 2022 EMEA Member and Partner conference will take place on 31st October-1st November 2022 at etc.venues, 133 Houndsditch, London EC3A 7BX. To register for the conference, or for more information, please visit https://www.comptia.org/emea/home.
