Connexin recognised as a Great Place to Work for the second year in a row
UK based smart technology and digital connectivity specialist, Connexin has received official certification as a ‘Great Place to Work’ for a second consecutive year.
The company scored highly in the Great Place to Work survey which was carried out amongst staff and gives the opportunity to answer questions honestly and anonymously about their place of work. The survey, which is carried out by the global company of the same name and has surveyed over 100 million employees worldwide.
Connexin’s continued commitment to its employees is reflected in its people benefits such as paid study time, enhanced parental leave, and mental health support via Think Mental Health. Connexin is also empowering its employees to support the communities it serves. Most recently raising over £63,000 through its Connexin Cares scheme to support local charities as well as providing career mentoring and apprenticeship programmes to a diverse range of candidates in the local community.
The company achieved even higher ratings this year, with nearly all focus areas showing improvement compared to 2023. The most significant increases, each rising by 6% or more, were seen in Hospitality, Team, Collaboration, Pride, and Communication. Four in five employees confirmed Connexin is a great place to work with an impressive 92% (23 out of 25) of the focus areas scoring 70% or higher – up 8% from last year.
The top scoring individual questions represented the company’s focus on diversity and inclusion. Over 90% of those surveyed at Connexin agreed that the company promotes and welcomes a diverse workforce across the business where people are treated fairly, regardless of their race, gender, or sexual orientation.
