James Cunningham, CEO and Co-founder of Core to Cloud, headquartered in Cirencester, has been named as one of the ‘Ones to Watch’ in The Times’ LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders list. This comes following a year of exceptional growth.
Since forming in 2015 the award-winning cyber security solutions provider has grown 138% year on year, more than quadrupling its revenue in the last three years and tripling its workforce. It now supports over a quarter of UK NHS Trusts, as well as Enterprises such as high street retailer Fat Face and GFK, amongst its diverse portfolio of clients.
To accommodate this growth, Core to Cloud is refurbishing its workspaces in the iconic 11th century Castle to create a vibrant working environment for its team and to open up the building for local businesses to use for meetings, conferences and collaborative spaces.
As the firm’s reputation grows so does its short and long term growth plans, expanding to new sectors and markets, including setting up offices in the US, mainland Europe and the southern hemisphere.
Now in its fifth year, the LDC Top 50, which is created in partnership with The Times, recognises the 50 most ambitious business owners and entrepreneurs in the UK. Aside from the Top 50, it also releases a ‘Ones to Watch’ list, highlighting members of the business community who are displaying positive sustainable impact, continued innovation, and international growth.
James Cunningham, CEO and Co-founder, Core to Cloud, said, “I’m delighted to have been recognised in the LDC Top 50 Ones to Watch list. I think it signifies the incredible work the team has been doing behind the scenes, and shows how far we’ve come as a business not only since we launched in 2015, but in the last three years especially.
“Since forming Core to Cloud with my business partner, Mark Liddle, our goal has always been to create a disruptive company which delivers ground-breaking solutions to our clients, and is constantly proactive in bringing fresh solutions to our partners and market as a whole. With the growth we’ve experienced in the last twelve months along with the investment we’ve put into our offices, we can’t wait to see what the next few years will look like for Core to Cloud.”
Core to Cloud specialises in ground-breaking cybersecurity solutions that help to secure IT infrastructure in a world of increasing cyber threats.
The company prides itself on its first to market approach. It was one of the first cyber security providers to supply cyber technology within Europe, across five technologies, which have now become some of the fastest growing cyber security vendors in the world.
Driving innovation in the sector has seen Core to Cloud position itself as the only UK supplier of Cylera solutions, a global leader in healthcare IoT and HIoT security. It was the first UK supplier of Pentera, the first supplier in England of Abnormal Security and one of the first suppliers of Immersive Labs technology. Last year, it was presented Vectra’s The Best Public Sector Reseller Award.
