Embridge Consulting and Unit4 partner with Concern Worldwide to deliver integrated ERP solution

Award-winning boutique digital transformation consultancy, Embridge Consulting, and leading enterprise cloud applications provider, Unit4, have today announced a new project with Concern Worldwide to deliver a best-in-class ERP solution.

Concern Worldwide is an international humanitarian organisation, committed to reducing the suffering of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries. In 2022, Concern impacted 39 million people, including responding to the needs of 65,000 internally displaced people in Ukraine, over 120,000 people who lost livelihoods and homes due to floods in Pakistan, and over one million people struggling to survive a record drought in the Horn of Africa.

Operating in 26 countries and with 4,500 staff and volunteers, the organisation has grown substantially in recent years and wanted to upgrade its finance and aid distribution management systems and were keen to automate and move to the Cloud.

With the complexities of international branches throughout the world presenting issues around training, support and connectivity, Concern enlisted Embridge Consulting and Unit4 based on their track record in supporting similar large-scale projects in the non-profit sector, including extensive work with Islamic Relief.

The joint project will implement Unit4 ERP, providing an intuitive, cost-effective platform to streamline finance, procurement, and warehousing, enabling Concern Worldwide to continue its important humanitarian work. Longer term, the intention is to work with Concern Worldwide so that it can continuously improve its operations, through collaboration, comprehensive training, and support.

Steve Haines, Chief Commercial Officer of Embridge Consulting, said:
“Having undergone significant expansion, Concern Worldwide needed a technology solution to help drive further operational efficiencies, improve reporting and drive insight for better, timely informed decision-making. Our proven track record of delivering similar large scale, complex projects, working collaboratively with Unit4, means we can provide the right combination of technology, best practice guidance, training, and ongoing support to this programme. In doing so, we can help Concern Worldwide operate more effectively, distributing aid where it’s most needed and managing donor funds appropriately. We’re delighted to be supporting Concern Worldwide so that, in turn, they can continue to support millions of people across the globe and maximise the value of their donor funding.”

Jonny Bryan, VP, Global Partners, at Unit4 added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Embridge Consulting to help Concern Worldwide navigate often complex and multi-layered projects and programs and, at the same time, deliver efficiencies. Together, we will make it easier for Concern Worldwide to optimise resources across the globe without data conflict or inaccuracies.”
