DE-PR-Students-Teachers-2024-08

Discovery Education, the creator of essential learning solutions used in classrooms and homes around the world, today announced a host of new resources for Back-to-School 2025 that support teaching across the UK National Curriculum.

Through a new partnership with Code School Finland, Discovery Education is now offering English educators the opportunity to pilot Little AI Learner. Offering professional development and unplugged, age-appropriate instruction in the conceptual foundations of AI and benchmark assessment tools, Little AI Learner is available within the Doodle Learning Suite.

Specifically designed for the earliest years of primary education, Little AI Learner introduces young children to the core principles of Artificial Intelligence through playful, unplugged activities, with no devices required. Rooted in the Finnish education system, the program helps children build a solid, age-appropriate foundation for understanding AI, setting them up for future success in digital literacy and technology learning. For teachers in England, this pilot offers an exciting chance to be at the forefront of innovative, cross-curricular learning that prepares pupils to engage thoughtfully with the technologies shaping their future. Schools can register interest in the trial here.
