CharityExtra recognised for advanced tech infrastructure by prestigious industry award

Fast-growing charity crowdfunding platform, CharityExtra, has been recognised for its advanced tech infrastructure and data driven approach to fundraising by the prestigious National Charity Today Awards.
Established in 2019 by Yitzi Bude, CharityExtra is a service-based platform that combines robust technology, a unique data processing model and a team of passionate fundraising experts to help charities benefit from the power of crowdfunding.
In using the platform, many charities have raised up to five times their usual totals when compared to traditional fundraising methods, thanks to its advanced ‘gamification’ technology and the bespoke strategies prepared for each campaign.
Founded in 2014, the National Charity Today Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of charities, businesses and individuals across the UK.
Hosted in partnership with Sinclair Method UK, the 2025 awards will celebrate finalists and winners across 13 different categories at a presentation dinner set to be hosted in Peterborough on 15th October 2025.
In being shortlisted for the ‘Technology for Good’ award, CharityExtra has been recognised for its innovative use of technology to drive positive social change, improve accessibility, or enhance the impact of charitable work.
Discussing this latest accolade, Yitzi Bude said: “I founded CharityExtra with a clear purpose to transform the way charities fundraise through the power of technology, data and community engagement. To be recognised by the National Charity Today Awards for our unique approach and tech infrastructure is a real honour and a testament to the incredible work of our team, who are dedicated to empowering charities with the tools they need to raise vital funds and make a lasting impact. We now look forward to the presentation in October and wish all other finalists the best of luck!”
CharityExtra is the number one online platform for charity campaigns, raising millions in funding and trusted by hundreds of not-for-profits.
