EfficientEther and TMurgent Integrate to Streamline MSIX Packaging and Compatibility Fix-ups

EfficientEther Ltd, makers of the EtherApps Forge packaging platform, and TMurgent Technologies, creators of TMEditX, today announced an integration that links Forge’s MSIX packaging engine with TMEditX’s advanced editing and Package Support Framework (PSF) capabilities. The combined workflow enables IT teams to capture, package, and remediate Windows applications faster as organizations move to Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Cloud PCs.
With the new flow, packagers can produce an MSIX in EtherApps Forge and continue remediation in TMEditX-bringing PSF injection, deep analysis, and fix-ups into a single, streamlined path from capture to deployment.
“Our goal is to remove friction from Windows application modernisation,” said R. Mangan, CEO, EfficientEther Ltd. “By connecting EtherApps Forge’s packaging engine to TMEditX’s industry-leading compatibility tooling, customers can go from raw installs to deployment-ready packages with fewer loops and less manual rework.”
“TMEditX is all about high-fidelity MSIX packaging,” said T. Mangan, TMurgent Technologies. “This integration meets teams right after capture, so fix-ups, PSF, and App Attach conversion are available exactly when they’re needed.”
What the integration enables
- Faster pipeline, fewer hops: Capture and package in EtherApps Forge, then automatically apply fix-ups using TMEditX for analysis, PSF injection, and compatibility remediation.
- High-fidelity MSIX: Go beyond the Microsoft MSIX Packaging Tool’s finalisation stage with TMEditX’s advanced manifest editing and compatibility tooling.
- AI-assisted packaging: Use EtherAssist’s AI guidance during capture and packaging, then finalise with TMEditX to improve success rates and reduce late-stage surprises.
Why now
Windows 10 reaches end of support on October 14, 2025. As organisations accelerate migration to Windows 11 and modern delivery patterns like MSIX and App Attach, this integration helps teams increase throughput and compatibility to support large-scale transitions under tight timelines.
Availability
The integration is available today.
