Hypetap, the intelligent influencer marketing agency, is making two senior hires in the UK to spearhead its growing presence in the EMEA region.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2013, Hypetap has built a reputation as a leader in data-driven influencer marketing, working with a roster of top global brands including Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, Colgate-Palmolive, Asahi and Tripadvisor. In 2024, the company expanded into the UK and wider European markets, setting up the London agency.

Building on this foundation, Hypetap is strengthening its UK operations with the addition of two senior hires in newly-created roles for the team: Chris Davis, who joins as Managing Director, and Albertine Brandon, who joins as Account Director.

Davis is a seasoned commercial and growth leader with over 15 years’ experience in media, marketing and influencer partnerships across the UK, US and Europe. He joins Hypetap from GloMotion Studios, a creator-led content and production studio, where he has served as the company’s Commercial Director for the past year. He has also held senior management roles at Brainlabs, Gleam Futures (acquired by Dentsu) and the MailOnline in New York.

In his new post, Davis will lead Hypetap’s UK operations with a focus on team culture, wellbeing and collaboration, while also working closely with client teams to strengthen existing partnerships and expand the agency’s footprint. He will also join the Global Executive Leadership team, contributing to the development and execution of Hypetap’s international growth strategy.

Davis said: “Hypetap has already built a brilliant foundation globally, and I’m excited to help unlock that potential here in the UK. Our proprietary tech and focus on measurement set us apart in the market, giving brands a clearer, more intelligent way to approach influencer marketing.”

Brandon joins Hypetap with nearly a decade of experience in influencer marketing and content, with a proven track record in leading client relationships and driving growth within the creator economy. She has previously held senior roles at Dentsu Creative and Influencer, as well as earlier positions at RX Global, bCreator™ and Blogosphere.

Brandon will oversee Hypetap’s key client relationships including Lee Kum Kee, Depop, Tripadvisor and independent agency partners, ensuring successful campaign delivery and supporting the agency’s continued growth. She will also lead and mentor the account management team with a focus on client satisfaction, long-term success and growing Hypetap’s UK market presence.

Both Davis and Brandon will report to Detch Singh, CEO at Hypetap, who said: “I’m thrilled to welcome both Chris and Albertine to the team during a pivotal period of growth for Hypetap in the UK. Their combined expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint and deliver exceptional results for our clients.”

This move marks the next chapter in Hypetap’s international growth journey, following the UK and European launch of Hypetap Intelligence earlier this year – the agency’s proprietary platform that analyses over 10 billion data points to power audience insights, campaign measurement, competitor benchmarking and brand lift for global brands.
