LogMeIn, Inc. has announced it has recently been certified under the UK’s G-Cloud 11 framework to deliver cloud services to public sector organizations. The G-Cloud 11 framework is an agreement between the UK government and its suppliers, providing public sector organizations with cloud-based services as part of a national digital online market place.
UK public sector organizations can now procure LogMeIn’s easy-to-use portfolio of cloud-based unified communication and collaboration (UCC), identity (IDaaS), and digital customer engagement and support solutions directly through the G-Cloud CloudStore. Products that are available include ‘GoToConnect’, ‘GoToWebinar’, ‘GoToMeeting’, ‘Rescue’, ‘LastPass’ and ‘Bold360’ on a subscription-based model.
The G-Cloud 11 Framework supports a ‘Cloud First’ approach by the UK government to fundamentally change the way UK public sector procures information technology. Its catalogued list of suppliers simplifies the procurement process and provides easy access to approved cloud technologies.
“LogMeIn is proud to be listed as an approved supplier on the G-Cloud 11 Framework with six services listed at this time,” said Sion Lewis, vice president of EMEA, LogMeIn.
“The solutions that LogMeIn will deliver to the UK public sector are proven to reduce operating costs and support the UK government’s agenda for ‘Digital and Cloud First’, allowing people to connect with each other worldwide to drive meaningful interactions, deepen relationships, and create better outcomes for public sector organizations and the individuals who work for them.”
LogMeIn has grown to become one of the world’s top 10 SaaS companies with a leadership position in every one of its markets. Its leading cloud computing technologies are helping government organizations worldwide to streamline internal processes, collaborate across departments, and engage with the public to deliver immediate value, break down barriers to innovation, and eliminate wasteful IT spending, while connecting citizens, civil service employees and agencies in completely new ways.
