As a member of Tanium’s partner leadership team, Palmer will head up the firm’s indirect go-to-market (GTM) strategy to build on existing successes and maximize the value Tanium can bring to the market, its partners and global customers.
Palmer’s appointment will further strengthen Tanium’s position as it builds out its global Partner program. Palmer will drive the sales execution of Tanium’s partner revenue engine, while Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels Tom Herrmann will drive deep integrations and go-to-market plays with advisories/system integrators, cloud providers and technology companies. This will be hugely beneficial to market expansion as we partner to deliver the best outcomes for the world’s largest enterprises and government organizations.

Palmer is a seasoned channel executive and a 20-year veteran of the technology industry. He joins Tanium from Hitachi Vantara, where he served as Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Partners and Alliances and was responsible for advancing the company’s partner business and executing a global go-to-market strategy. Prior to Hitachi Vantara, Palmer held various leadership roles at Cohesity, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp and CA Technologies.
