Civica, a global leader in software for public services, has announced that Civica UK Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, has acquired ntropy data, Inc., which provides an innovative software-as-a-service platform for community and stakeholder engagement.
With a clear focus on its role as an innovation leader underpinned by our Civica NorthStar innovation lab, the acquisition will help to drive improved digital engagement and community participation for customers across the Group, including actionable insights through data visualisation and AI-driven analytics.
Ntropy’s award-winning cloud software for digital community and stakeholder engagement gives communities a voice and decision makers the insight they need. Its comprehensive suite of engagement, feedback and analytics tools facilitates outreach, participation, communication and discovery through advanced data analytics. Its specialist capability is new for Civica and highly complementary to Civica’s existing democracy and engagement solutions and cloud-based growth strategy.
Widely used by public sector organisations, ntropy supports customers in the UK, USA and Australia. Its customers include Tourism Northern Ireland, City of Sydney, Times Square Alliance and City and County of San Francisco with online community engagement programmes.
