Fivetran Recognised with Gold Award from Bloor Research

Fivetran, the leading automated data integration provider, today announced that it has received the Gold Award in Bloor Research’s 2020 Data Integration Market Update. Each year, Bloor identifies the software companies which enable organisations to increase their ability to evolve more rapidly and remain agile. Bloor is recognising Fivetran for its ability to radically simplify the data integration process, enable rapid and reliable access to data, and accelerate time to value through data-driven insight.

A fully managed cloud-native solution, Fivetran flips the final two steps of a traditional ETL approach to automate the data centralisation process, and ensures consistent and reliable data access through pre-built, ready-to-use connectors which empower data-driven decision-making.

In its analysis, Bloor outlines the must-have capabilities of modern data integration tools and points to these as hallmarks of Fivetran. These include excellent ease of use as a managed service offering, its cloud-native architecture, and its superior transformation and automation capabilities. The Fivetran “idempotent” (or self-correcting) pipelines, guaranteed uptime (99.9 percent), and attractive pricing are also called out in the report.

“What it does, Fivetran does exceedingly well,” said Philip Howard, Research Director at Bloor Research. “On the connector side it is especially strong in terms of the wide range of application environments it supports. If you want to take a best-of-breed approach to data integration in the cloud, then Fivetran is well worth considering.”

The award comes on the heels of other notable achievements the company has garnered in 2020, including its Computing Cloud Excellence Award for Cloud Integration Product of the Year, as well as being named to the 2020 Forbes Cloud 100, the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world. Together these accolades demonstrate the company’s recent significant success and growth amidst a huge shift to modernize  enterprise data management.

“We’re delighted to have been recognised by Bloor for this award,” said Nate Spohn, general manager, EMEA. “Data analytics is increasingly being seen as capable of reimagining entire organisations, and we are working at Fivetran to enable data-driven cultures and in doing so become an instrumental part of enterprises’ digital transformation strategies. It’s gratifying to know that we’re on the right track as we continue to expand our enterprise data integration capabilities.”

Since Bloor’s Data Integration Market Update was published, Fivetran has added new enterprise-ready data source connectors to the more than 150 they already maintain 24/7, including SAP, Oracle, and IBM, accelerating large enterprise organisations’ move to the modern data stack. With its market-leading ELT technology, Fivetran is seeing strong demand among enterprise customers, partnering with global brands such as ASICS, DocuSign, Forever 21, Lionsgate, Strava and Urban Outfitters.
