Utelogy Corporation, a visionary provider of control, monitoring and analytics software for workspace management, is adding SCC AVS to its growing number of global solutions partners providing managed and professional services. Headquartered in Birmingham, UK, SCC AVS is part of the SCC Group, Europe’s largest privately-owned IT vendor and service provider, and SCC’s portfolio of services spans from supply through to fully managed services, infrastructure optimisation, unified communications, and Data Centre services.
The Utelogy partnership adds an enhanced layer of functionality into SCC’s monitoring, management, and support capabilities, as well as introducing advanced Management Information (MI) features. The Utelogy platform provides benefit to the SCC ecosystem and its end users by improving the overall user experience, reducing downtime, and increasing the return on meeting space investments.
The Utelogy service will provide SCC AVS with a specific capability to provide enhanced management, monitoring, and control for the video-enabled workplace, offering strengthened capabilities to what is already a comprehensive portfolio of managed services. The company’s standard service will now include Utelogy by default, providing remote management of the entire collaboration estate; 24x7x365 application and network monitoring; aftercare and warranty services; preventative maintenance visits; cloud video; and hosted unified communications.
“This collaboration will benefit SCC AVS customers in several ways,” explains SCC AVS Managing Director, Graham Fry. “It will enable faster solution deployment through remote configurations; allow for improved room uptime and reduced costs with automated room readiness testing and self-healing functionality; and provide greater insights and automation across both our and our clients’ wide range of device and manufacturer deployments within a single platform.”
“We are delighted to sign this agreement with SCC AVS,” comments Jonathan Mangnall, Utelogy. “SCC has great relationships across Europe at the C-level with many significant customers, and we look forward to providing them with powerful tools to compliment and enhance their AV and UC service management offering.”
