Digitopia Hosts Network Rail & Ex-BP CIOs in First Ever Event Dedicated to Digital Maturity

Digitopia, the leading digital maturity consultancy, headquartered in the UK, has today announced that it will be hosting the Digitopia Maturity Summit, the first ever event dedicated completely to digital maturity, on 23rd September 2021.

Over the past 18 months, digital transformation has become an increasingly important aspect of business success. As industries continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, those who innovate most effectively will reap long-term benefits. By measuring their digital maturity, businesses can accurately track and benchmark their progress as they continue to evolve.

Taking place between 1pm and 6pm BST, at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Savoy Place, London, the Digitopia Maturity Summit will host a number of delegates discussing the importance of measuring digital transformation, drawing on personal experience to offer exclusive insight on digital maturity. The event will also be available to stream online.

Opened and closed by Halil Aksu, CEO and co-founder of Digitopia, the event will feature a range of speakers. Group CIO for Network Rail, Aidan Hancock, will discuss his experiences at Network Rail with digital transformation. Nick Forde, Partner at Digitopia, will share his insight about the importance of measurement, and a representative from global manufacturing powerhouse, KordSA, will explain the organisation’s success with digital transformation from partnering with Digitopia.

Mark Walker-Smith, Head of EMEA for Digitopia, will also be hosting a panel discussion, featuring Bradley York-Biggs, CEO of the Institute of Digital Engineering UK and Axel Bindel, Executive Director at HSSMI. The panel will discuss the use cases of digital transformation within automotive and the wider engineering and manufacturing industries, and how it can help to achieve the ambitious plans set within each industry.

“Digital transformation has never been more important than it is today. As we move away from the pandemic and businesses continue to search for more sustainable long term solutions, measuring digital maturity becomes a crucial component to delivering business success,” said Halil Aksu, CEO and co-founder of Digitopia.

“The Digitopia Maturity Summit will provide guidance for those who want to understand how their digital transformation journey can become more effective and streamlined. The event’s speakers and panellists are some of the brightest minds within the digital space, and can offer a huge amount of insight on how to transform an organisation’s digital capabilities for the better. It will be an exciting event that few can afford to miss.”
