Content Guru Highly Commended at Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards 2021

Leading provider of cloud customer experience solutions, Content Guru, has been Highly Commended for “Digital Transformation of the Year – Large Organisations” at the Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards 2021.

This category commends businesses that have simplified or modernised their systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Content Guru was highly commended for its best-in-class storm® cloud contact centre solution, which has been utilised by large organisations in a range of sectors throughout the pandemic to deliver an unmatched customer experience, seamlessly.

storm enabled NHS 111 London to scale to handle an increase in call volumes of up to 500% when COVID hit the capital. Content Guru set up new dedicated numbers within the NHS 111 providers so that patients with symptoms of COVID-19 could be routed directly to specialised healthcare advisers. To minimise call queues, service users were offered the option to receive a link via SMS to the latest Public Health England information about coronavirus.

Alongside this, Content Guru enabled Herts Urgent Care (HUC), which runs the NHS 111 telephone line and General Practitioner (GP) out-of-hours services for over 3.3 million people in the East of England, to handle calls as remotely as possible. Content Guru developed the innovative storm LINKTM Video Consultation service, which can be launched on a patient’s mobile device by any clinician mid-consultation.

Martin Taylor, Deputy CEO and Co-Founder of Content Guru, commented: “We are delighted to be recognised for our hard work to help large organisations in both the public and private sector deliver unmatched customer service. Our engineers have worked tirelessly to keep storm at the forefront of cutting-edge cloud technology, and we release new updates every month to meet our customers’ ever-evolving needs. Looking to the future, we are committed to transforming the customer experience market across the globe.”
