ramsac to host cyber-attack simulation for cyber-security professionals

IT security experts, ramsac, are collaborating with Grant Thornton UK LLP to simulate a cyber-attack for cyber-security professionals of all levels to meet, learn, and gain experience in the industry.

Attendees will experience a cyber-attack where they will find out what you need to know, what not to do, how to prioritise and how to develop the emotional rigour necessary to deal with a cyber crisis. The event also includes real insight into what motivates hackers as well as expert training on how to not be a soft target, and the legal and practical opportunities to prepare for.

Experts from both ramsac and Grant Thornton UK LLP will be at the seminar, including Rob May, Managing Director at ramsac, and Vijay Rathour, partner and Head of the Digital Forensics Group at Grant Thornton UK LLP.

Vijay Rathour: 

Vijay Rathour is partner and Head of the Digital Forensics Group at Grant Thornton UK LLP and is a cybersecurity expert specialising in supporting bribery, corruption, corruption, competition law infringement and complex fraud investigations. Vijay co-authored the new Civil Procedure Rules on document disclosure (CPR 31B) and the protocols applied in the Technology and Construction Courts. Grant Thornton provides cyber services to confidently manage evolving risk.
