Award-winning HR technology company Connectr has appointed ex-Amazon leader, Josie Jakub as their Vice President of Marketing. With Josie’s experience in high growth Enterprise IT, SaaS and transformational marketing she will work with the leadership team to guide the company and achieve its strategic expansion plans. The Connectr mentoring platform was created to attract, upskill and retain employees from all backgrounds while helping businesses to significantly meet their diversity and inclusion targets.
Josie’s career has grown alongside the development of the technology industry, with over 20 years’ experience in marketing the world’s most influential businesses. She has been a notable champion of the move from on-premise to cloud IT, infrastructure and from traditional marketing strategies within the Telco, Legal IT, Cyber-Security and education sectors.
While based in Luxembourg, Josie made a significant contribution to the global channel marketing organisation for Amazon Web Services (AWS), then moving on to growing a strong European marketing presence for ‘born-in-the-cloud’ document and email management service, NetDocuments. Josie has since found a niche, delivering complex communication plans to achieve scale up and growth through her passion for creating high performance, revenue generating marketing operations. Having experienced the positive power of mentoring in the early 2000s under Tamsin McCormack, it makes sense that Josie should be joining Connectr to offer her marketing expertise to bring mentoring at scale across the UK workforce.

It’s a very empowering process that provided me personally with a lot of inspiration, new ideas and support professionally. Now, I can’t imagine being without it.
