Orbus Software, a cloud solutions provider for digital transformation, today announced Gareth Burton as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Burton has extensive experience at international technology companies and SaaS businesses, previously holding the position of CEO at ThinkProject, alongside senior roles at Motorola and BT. He also held board level IT positions within the oil and gas, construction and FinTech software sectors, as CIO of Laing O’Rourke, Baker Hughes and Finastra.
Across his career, Burton has led large digital transformation programs and will use his expertise to lead Orbus Software into the next stage of its growth.

His new position at Orbus reflects the significant changes underway within the business, which includes its continued rapid expansion into the US and the launch of its new global partner program. Burton’s appointment will assist in growing the company’s partner network, while supporting the company’s expansion into new markets.
The company’s growth is also reflected in its portfolio of leading brands, this year adding Deloitte Australia and the U.S Department of Commerce. The appointment of Burton matches the strength of this unprecedented growth, particularly as cloud solutions become more crucial than ever in remaining competitive in the current landscape.
