Neosurf is a popular payment solution in the gaming and e-sports community. Online shops using the ZEN payment gateway have already been able to add Neosurf as one of their payment methods. Now, ZEN.COM customers will also be able to top up their account using a Neosurf voucher.
This is another step strengthening the cooperation between the two fintechs. ZEN.COM continues to add new top-up methods to the app in order to improve the convenience and
security of users. With the addition of Neosurf prepaid cards, ZEN customers already have 32 methods available to top up their account balance, including credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and other locally available payment methods, such as iDEAL, Skrill or Bancontact.
At the end of last year, 2.2 million prepaid cards had already been issued in Poland, which means they had a 5.1 percent market share. Market leaders expect the global prepaid card industry to reach US$ 3.1 trillion by 2022 1 . This is a high amount, considering that most of them are disposable.
Such solutions, which provide security and anonymity by not requiring personal data, are eagerly used especially by people who value their online privacy. Security is key for users of fintechs like ZEN.COM, so it is very important for the company to strengthen its partnership with an established player in the payments industry like Neosurf.
Chief Commercial Officer at Neosurf, Andrea McGeachin commented, “ZEN.COM is a valued partnership for us. Neosurf is rapidly becoming a payment means of choice in the gaming and gambling sector. We put the customer experience at the heart of the Neosurf proposition, very much in line with ZEN.COM’s own philosophies, and we look forward to extending our relationship further as we move forward.”
This is not the first time ZEN.COM and Neosurf have collaborated. Already before, e-shops using the payment gateway of the Polish fintech had access to the possibility of adding Neosurf as one of the payment methods, thus giving customers the choice of their preferred method. Neosurf cards can be purchased online or for cash in a stationary shop. The account is topped up by entering the code from the card, without the need to provide any personal details.
