For UK charities, NHS Trusts, and schools, SOS Intelligence launches a free six-month cyber security plan

UK charities, hospitals, and schools now have access to SOS Intelligence for six months for free.

With the dramatically increased risk of data breaches, hacking and other cyber threats, they have created this special plan to benefit these organisations.

A new threat report published by the NCSC reveals why the charity sector is particular vulnerable to cyber attacks, the methods used by criminals, and how charities can best defend themselves.

Lindy Cameron, NCSC CEO, said:

“More charities are now offering online services and fundraising online, meaning reliable, trusted digital services are more important than ever. During the Ukraine crisis, we saw more criminals taking advantage of the generosity of the public, masquerading as charities for their own financial gain.”

The UK is seeing an unprecedented increase in cyber threats and attacks. A recent Government report in July 22 highlighted 39% of UK businesses identified a cyber attack. Within the group of organisations reporting cyber attacks, 31% of businesses and 26% of charities estimate they were attacked at least once a week.

CEO and Founder,  Amir Hadzipasic said:

“If you are a UK charity, a NHS trust or UK school, you can apply for a special account with SOS Intelligence, which gives you the first six months for free.”

“An application takes seconds and once approved, you can up and running in minutes. We are offering this as we know this can make a huge difference to your cyber security, and we know that is more and more important. We want to do the right thing and help these organisations who can be devastated by a cyber attack and breach of data.”
