AI driven shopping platform aisle 3 exits the CSS business in all-cash transaction
AI driven shopping platform aisle 3 has completed an all cash sale of its Google CSS “Comparison Shopping Site” service to Europe’s largest CSS service provider Product Hero. The sale consolidates market share for Product Hero, who support Enterprise clients such as Rituals and Ikea. Developed by a team of ecommerce veterans since 2020, aisle 3 is a revolutionary online shopping platform that uses proprietary AI technology to aggregate all retailers selling the same product into one tab. This means shoppers can find the cheapest price and checkout across any retailer in one-click.
The proceeds of the sale will be used to continue aisle 3’s rapid growth in the Sneaker category, continuing the development of its proprietary universal product matching algorithm and Cloud Basket tm . aisle 3 removes the need for shoppers to open another tab or app while shopping online whilst earning cashback into their online wallet (wAll3t™), on every order.
Thomas J. Vosper, CEO of aisle 3 says: “As our sneaker shopping experience (a3.co) continues to rapidly gain traction we switch focus towards our AI engine. Since our launch at NRF in New York in January, we have exceeded 10,500 registered shoppers to our platform and aim to become the preeminent destination for UK sneakers after closing our current investment round. Product Hero is a great new partner for the advertisers and agencies we’ve supported, as they continue to run their advertising campaigns through the EU wide programme.“
After successfully raising funding from US VC, FJ Labs, and industry experts from Amazon, Seedcamp, Snap, BigCommerce and MoneySupermarket they are finalising their current seed round to take advantage of their rapid growth over recent weeks.
