UK Tech Company Glean Wins Two Global EdTech Awards

UK EdTech company Glean has been recognised for its outstanding contributions to the education technology industry with two global EdTech Cool Tool Award wins. The Glean study tool won in two categories: Best Student Study Tools Solution and Best Personalized Learning Solution (HE).

With its innovative approach to personalised learning, Glean is a leader in the education technology industry: these award wins come only one month after being named a top 10 UK tech company by Best Companies with outstanding employee engagement.

“A very big congratulations to all The EdTech Awards 2023 finalists and winners—and congratulations to all who endured the upheavals of the last few years only to come through stronger, more experienced, resilient, and resolute in laying out the future of learning,” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the program.

“It’s far from perfect—but across K-12, higher education, and workforce learning sectors—an accelerated digital transformation has left in its wake hybrid schools, rapidly changing post-secondary models, and an increasingly remote-based workforce,” Rivero said. “The world has truly changed—and we will never be the same again.”

The EdTech Awards recognises people for transforming education through technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.

“Our mission is to change the lives of learners, and to unlock human potential through technology that empowers individuals to learn confidently and effectively,” said Dave Tucker, Founder and CEO of Glean. “We are extremely proud to win two EdTech Cool Tool Awards, and be recognised as an innovative leader in the education technology industry.”

Glean helps students to improve grades, boost their confidence, and reduce stress. From improving note-taking, to building learning skills, it allows students to capture everything from class, organise and refine information, then apply their learning. This enables them to build useful knowledge without worrying about wasting important information.

Glean offers a variety of features that make it a hugely valuable tool for students who sometimes struggle with information overload: learners who might be neurodiverse, studying in a second language, or dealing with stress and anxiety amongst other challenges. They can record classes, add notes, images, slides, transcripts, and more to create rich study resources.

Winning two EdTech Cool Tool Awards is a testament to the company’s continued commitment to their mission, learning ethos, and innovation in education.
