East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) is set to bring its portfolio onto a single cloud platform to manage all aspects of its property, estates and asset information.
In a new three-year contract, the Council has chosen the Civica Property Management SaaS solution to house all its property and asset data and bring all functions and processes together into one cohesive service for citizens.
The Council’s assets include a variety of operational and commercial properties such as offices, leisure centres, industrial estates, business centres and public open space. The new platform will improve EHDC’s business continuity provision, cost reporting and asset management efficiency. It will support compliance with a diary and flagging system, and integration with other Council software such as financial management.
Cllr Tony Costigan, the Portfolio Holder for Property at East Hampshire District Council said: “Effective management of our asset portfolios is a priority for the Council; access to accurate and reliable data will enable us to make evidence-based decisions and is essential to successfully deliver our objectives.
“Civica’s cloud platform will support our dynamic nature and provide a truly flexible and adaptable solution that enables real time data to be available at our fingertips – on the move, on site, or in the office.”
Vipul Patel, Managing Director, Civica Property Management added: “Our SaaS solution will provide a single view of all Council assets, helping East Hampshire to improve cost management and maximise revenue generation while supporting efforts to deliver service transformation. We’re delighted to be supporting the Council to meet its strategic asset goals both now and in the future.”
