EdTech Gaia Learning showcase hybrid learning at ISTELive global Conference

Online learning provider for neurodivergent children, Gaia Learning, and global non-profit Take Action Global (TAG) are taking to the stage at ISTELive 2024 in Denver to speak about creating effective digital learning environments.

ISTELive is one of the world’s most comprehensive EdTech events of the year, held 23-26 June in Dever, Colorado – attracting a global audience of curriculum directors, teachers and key influencers from the EdTech industry. Speaking on stage at the ‘Instructional Design Playground’ session on Monday 24 June, Gaia Learning and TAG will Explore and apply instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that engage and support learning.

“Being part of Take Action Global’s innovative Climate Action Schools Programme, we’re pleased to link up on stage at the ISTELive 2024 event. We are on a mission to help neurodivergent learners regain or discover their confidence, self-compassion and love for learning, and this session will showcase how we do that day-to-day at Gaia Learning by using hybrid and online learning to give learners the power to learn at any time from anywhere. This will hopefully inspire the global teaching community how to effectively use digital learning to support neurodivergent young people,” says Kirstin Coughtrie, Founder and CTO at Gaia Learning.

Take Action Global (TAG) is a leading nonprofit committed to climate action education, serving more than 4 million students and educators from 160 countries. Gaia Learning has been actively involved in their Climate Action Schools Programme – a project allowing schools with students ages 5-18 from around the world to work together to solve global challenges and form a community of practice around climate and sustainability in the classroom learning environment.

“Gaia Learning and Take Action Global are paving the way for a future where education transcends physical classrooms, empowering students across the globe to tackle pressing global issues together,” says Dr. Jennifer Williams, Executive Director at Take Action Global.
