Axway Appoints Yves Lajouanie as Head of EMEA

Axway has announced the appointment of Yves Lajouanie as General Manager EMEA. In this role, Yves will be responsible for the strategic direction of Axway in EMEA where he will be focused on driving the company’s growth across the region and ensuring customer satisfaction.

“For the past seven years, Yves has played a major role in the company’s success. He has demonstrated his ability to manage the strategy of our European business and to lead the teams to excellent results, especially during the complex period we have just experienced,” said Patrick Donovan, CEO of Axway. “We are delighted to announce his appointment as General Manager EMEA. With his skills and qualities, Yves will be able to both maintain customers in Axway’s traditional businesses and accelerate growth around the Amplify API management offering, for which we have ambitious targets.

With the advent of the enterprise platform model, the demand for APIs has increased.  Axway’s Amplify offering is spearheading its development and now represents more than 20% of its revenue. At the same time, MFT and B2B solutions as well as the Axway Accounting Integration software suite remain strategic business priorities for the company. Axway has significantly evolved its business model over the past three years, moving from a perpetual license sales model to a subscription model, and providing its entire offering as a SaaS model.

Yves Lajouanie joined Axway in 2014 as European Director of Channel and Alliances, before being appointed Deputy General Manager EMEA in 2019. A graduate of Supelec, Yves began his sales career at IBM France.  He then joined Systar, a performance management software company, where he held various management and executive positions in Europe and the US, before being appointed Executive Vice President for EMEA and APAC in 2011.
