Colocation provider ServerChoice has today announced that it has closed a momentous 2021, after successfully launching its new ServerChoice Connect service, and expanding its Stevenage data centre. The UK-based data centre provider is now looking to continue this success with the expansion of one of its sites and new service launches throughout the year.
Hybrid IT environments have become the most desirable infrastructure option for many businesses, allowing them to access the various benefits from different components, such as the sovereignty of a data centre and the scalability of public cloud.
Looking to enable customers to access these features, ServerChoice recently launched its ServerChoice Connect service. Through connectivity to cloud providers, data centres, peering exchanges, VoIP, Telcos/ISPs and IaaS/PaaS, direct from a ServerChoice rack, customers have the agility to flourish in the volatile business landscape that many now operate in.
The past year also saw ServerChoice further improve its customer offering through the expansion of its Stevenage data centre, with a new 47 rack data hall, to meet the growing demands for UK based data centre services. The new hall makes use of state-of-the-art technology to enable high energy efficiency, with individual racks receiving 2x 32A (15 kW) of power and supported by UPS and generator.
The plans to continue this success, and improve their latest NPS score of 83%, entail an expansion of another of its data centres, enabling more customers to access the benefits of ServerChoice’s data centre approach.
Adam Bradshaw, Commercial Director at ServerChoice, commented “Despite the uncertainty surrounding everyone for the previous two years, we have continued to grow and adapt to our customer’s changing needs. Throughout a difficult time, we were able to support our new customers by getting their services up and running in just 12 hours, while also providing our existing customers with an agile service.
“As we move into a post-Covid world and can plan for the long term with a greater degree of certainty, I look forward to sharing ServerChoice’s new launches in the coming months.”
